Genoa-Kingston Fire Protection District proudly protects 9,000 people living in 77 square miles. The GKFPD operates out of two stations that protect a primarily rural area, which includes Genoa, Kingston and large portions of Northern DeKalb County. They provide both fire protection and Emergency Medical Services. The GKFPD responds to over 1,200 calls per year.
